Going with Carpi looks stupid considered that this team suffered 7 goals in just 2 games, and as I had chance to write already, they have the worst roster in the league.
Anyway, creepy things are going on in Palermo. For the entire international break there have been rumours about coach Iachini being on the verge to leave the club after not being satisfied by the promises that the club owner Zamparini made about the transfers. Palermo sold key players like Barreto, Dybala and Belotti, and the replacement are all youngsters with no Serie A experience except for Gilardino. Iachini wanted at least a striker more and a winger but he couldn't get them. Today he also stated that Palermo was lucky because he didn't choose to leave in june when he had 2 offers from "big clubs".
Those kind of words by a man like Iachini who is always low profiled are very particular and make me wonder what's going on there. I believe that the relationship between him and the club is ripped with no solution.
For a club like Palermo those kind of controversies are a bad sign, because they need to be 100% focused on training and application in order to do well every week. I don't think they will be serene in the next weeks, and also the international break didn't help because not only left space to these controversies, but also took away some key players from the training sessions (Vazquez, Lazaar, Gonzalez, Chochev).
Carpi has no big weapons to show but if they will apply better defense than they did vs Sampdoria and Inter (but in the last game they showed improvements) I think they could snitch something in Palermo.
U mnie wygląda to teraz tak:
