Don't normally post my big wins on here but I feel the need to let off a bit of steam after a shocking couple of weeks.

I generally try not to get too emotionally involved with my gambling but the last couple of weeks have been such a rollercoaster. Only yesterday I lost over 40k when Azarenka got injured in the tennis, but today more than made up for it. The vast majority of the wins for today came from the Murray match where the market just kept overreacting to a break of serve.

The other two wins, though, are actually far more interesting, despite their comparatively moderate size, and go to explain why there is so much money to be made on Betfair if you know what to look for.

The football profit came from a back of Utd to win the league at 1.01 after last weekends results. I had 56k on but the real odds were probably 1/500 so there was around 400 quid of equity there for me. I backed Blackburn today at 8.2 for 150 to cover it (and oculd've got 1.65 Chelsea, 30 Blackpool and probably 1.24 Chelsea if needed)

The Specials bet was a back of Azerbajan at low prices in the Eurovision song contest (mostly at 1.01). I only backed 1.01 when I was fairly confident the true price was 1.005 and probably way below that. This kind of market doesn't happen often enough for it to get the pricing correct in running.

leaving this profession from 2012 as full time. I may continue doing part time but not as full time. I am chosing a career which gives me satisfaction and status in society which I am missing now. My worst day ever (well pretty confident it will be whatever happens in the Barca match).

Lost big on Chelsea, then lost big on Betis again with three late goals.

Certainly wasn't expecting it to get worse! Was playing quite conservatively, but consecutive late goals can be a killer. I can't trade out unless I give up value.

Yes Pistachio, it's pretty crazy. I knew this would happen at some stage. I'm playing to much bigger stakes now, so I would expect to lose big when things go wrong, I was just hoping I could go on making money a bit longer before a crazy loss like this would occur

Last Sunday was bad, but I had an extremely good week prior to that. This week was already a bit rubbish, so this hit really hard.

To jeszcze chyba liga wyzej niz Lotros , wszystko w sumie na pilce , pierwszy koleszka to Inwestor2 ,sledze poczynania tego goscia od dluzszego czasu i wydaje mi sie , ze maks co stracil to tygodniowka , bo pisal , ze zwiekszyl stawki i chyba pare dni predzej potrafil zarobic po 15k na jednym meczu , wogole chyba juz troche czaje jaka on strategie stosuje, potrzeba do niej niezlego softu i konkretnego budzetu ,ale on nakrenca niezla czesc plynnosci na rynkach inplay.
